In Service to the Patient, Community and Medicine
Working with The University of Vermont Medical Center, I launched a digital campaign that focused around the hospital’s brand promise: “In Service to the Patient, Community and Medicine.” Displayed over multiple media platforms, the campaign highlighted stories of patients, physicians, and the hospital’s community outreach efforts. Elements of the campaign included videos, photography, and written accounts that were then included on the hospital’s website, as well as social media channels and digital ads placed across specifically-targeted websites.
Apples to iPods
In 2007, VDTM launched Apples to iPods. Designed to encourage apple orchard visibility and visits, we placed a wooden apple in participating pick-your-own orchards around the site. An annual fall promotion, Apples-to-iPods gives both residents and visitors to Vermont the opportunity to win an iPod/iPad by finding the winning apple. In addition to earned media, VDTM leverages social media to announce which apples have been found, and which orchards still have a hidden apple remaining, offering a game-like element to apple-picking season. This fun tradition continues to grow in popularity every year.
